Where tradition meets experimentation
This studio in the heart of Baku has been a space of exploration for over four decades—where the vibrant colors of Azerbaijani carpets, the light of the Caspian, and the rhythm of ancient weaving traditions transform into contemporary painting and tapestry.
In my teaching at the State Academy for over twenty years, I emphasize that technique is vocabulary, not an end. The "thread"—fundamental to our carpet-weaving heritage—manifests through special brushstrokes and textured layers, creating woven structures that give my works their characteristic depth and "shadow threads."

Small group workshops designed for serious artists seeking to deepen their craft through exploration of mixed media, texture, and national color.
